Kong Skull Island (2017)

In a nutshell: Entertaining. It was decent, worth the $3.99 stream rent.
A little hokey at times, but not terrible. The Special effects/CGI was quite good but not mind blowing.
Storyline was average, certainly not gripping but enough to keep you watching.
The best character of the show was not the lead, done by John Reilly playing a crusty WW II Vet...IMO by far the most memorable character in the movie.
I do like Samual Jackson, but some movies like this one I think he overacts a bit. Just my opinion.

3 out of 5 stars from me....worth the $4.

We saw it in the theater. Big 3d screen , popcorn and the reclining lounge chairs in our theater made it very watchable.
Not sure if it would have kept my attention at home.
3 out of 5 stars sounds about right.
Besides Kong ( of course) John Reilly was the best character, the ending was sweet.

We are fortunate enough to have an 8 foot home theater...anybody who likes movies and has a couple thousand to put into a system...it is highly worth it.

I saw it and thought it was good.
I liked how they did it with the military and did something new for a change.
I liked John Goodman.
