Bobby Jindal has been mentioned as a possible GOP nominee for President. I noticed this article in today's NOLA paper:

Jindal administration should be open with the public: Editorial | NOLA.com

In part:

"As Louisiana officials were deciding how to handle $523 million in Medicaid cuts last summer, Gov. Bobby Jindal's administration seems to have gone out of its way to keep the public from finding out the state's strategy. The Associated Press reported Monday that top administration officials used their personal email accounts to develop a plan for dealing with the media. The private conversations discussed press releases, responses to news coverage and an opinion piece being written about the cuts."

The advice to "know your candidates" applies to all parties. There are many Democrat voters that did not know what the hell they were voting for when Obama was the dream candidate.

All politicians, regardless of party affiliation....have the potential to be sleaze-bag, lying, two-faced sons of bitches!

Thank you for the post!

Jindal running on education reform, so Progs already have him in their crosshairs.

Where would the Democrat Party be without the ability to produce generation of drooling, illiterate, government dependent idiots? It they lose the inner city, they lose everything because that's where they manufacture the votes that win elections

But Obama is the most transparent Administration Evah!!!

Other potential 2016 candidates...

Andrew Cuomo on the issues:

Supports same-sex marriage and same rights of marriage.

Decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana.

One strike & you’re out drug policy for public housing.

Double the charter school cap.

Greater focus on environmental justice.

Environmental justice. Whatever that is...

End “government for sale” with public financing of campaigns.

NY has the second highest state and local tax burden in the nation.

Looks like he is just as owned by Wall Street as every other politician:

Cuomo proposed taxing multi-state companies only on how much business they do here. Cuomo suggested replacing the existing corporate franchise tax, which is based on a combination of sales, payroll & property holdings, with a “single sales factor” tax, under which sales would be counted once instead of twice as they are now. It would be phased in over four years and benefit manufacturers and securities firms first, eventually applying to all companies with holdings in New York and other states.
