Neglected cats feed on the flesh of dead man

Officials removed dozens of cats from a home in Albion, PA, after they found the felines feasting on the flesh of one of two dead residents.
Herbert Walden, who was in his 70s, probably died of a heart attack more than a week before his body was found Saturday, Erie County deputy coroner Korac Timon told the Erie Times News.
His mother, Jane Walden, 94, likely died Thursday or Friday of dehydration, as she relied on her son to take care of her.
When a local pharmacy noticed Herbert hadn't come to pick up a prescription in a while, they called the police, who found him dead in a chair. At least one cat had begun to eat his foot, Timon said.
