A kind-hearted policeman who pulled over a cash-strapped driver on a traffic violation has handed the man a $100 bill inside his ticket in an astonishing show of generosity.

Hayden Carlo, 25, was stopped by the Plano, Texas police officer, who does not wish to be identified, as he had an expired registration sticker.

The hardworking father-of-two saw he had no option but to be honest with the police officer.

over the course of my 60 years, I've had a few dozen run-ins with the law...

and it's been my experience that, with only two particular exceptions, the guys in the uniforms are good decent folks...
