Key Question Missing from VP Debate

IMO, the most important aspect of being the VP is that you automatically become president if, God forbid, something happens to the president. I think the moderator should've asked each VP candidate what qualifies him to be the president.

Of course, Cheney would have won this one hands down compared to a less-than-one-term senator who stood/stands no chance of re-election to his senate seat.

I think the moderator did ask that. The question was something like "you're only a heartbeat away, what qualifies you..."
