That's one problem. In this country, you don't have to work hard or sacrifice anything. Most of the time, if you have the right connections, you can have whatever you want. I don't care how much taxes the richest 5% pay, they couldn still buy the moon and more...

Who are you to say who has worked hard to earn they're way. If they had connections so be it. They worked to get those connections. They made their fortunes happen. To say they can buy the moon, what the hell does that have to do with anything? They earned all of their money. Why should they be forced to pay for those who do not want to work? If they want to give charity then that is their own choice to make. Hense freedom and choice. Not forced charity otherwise known as socialism.

People that don't work aren't the people that should get tax breaks. Neither should the filthy rich. The hard working class should. There are people that work 10 times harder than these rich snobs and they'll never see half a million dollars, let alone billions. If anything, the rich shouldn't be getting any breaks with the amount of money they make. That's not socialist, it's the right thing to do. People with that kind of money have no business complaining. I'd like to see some of them get by with even $100,000 a year!

See thats the thing. Who are you to say that a rich person didnt take advantage of the opportunities placed before them and made the money they made because they worked hard and suffered long hours to get to the top. People are so fucking jealous of Rich people. Stop coveting thy neighbors goods and go out and earn enough money for yourself and go get the stuff they have.

Im young and have never made more than 20k a year. But ive also never seen a job where i can do nothing and make millions either. Everyone that has made their millions has in some way worked hard to get it. For the kids who have inheritance, they don't pay taxes anyway. Plus their parents worked hard to allow them to have a good life. But if they want their kids to have a good life, they'll have to work hard to secure that. To say the rich don't deserve what they got is absolute bullshit.

I didn't say that. I said that the rich have no business complaining about taxes. They are greedy themselves (many times more in fact) if they complain about taxes when they have so much money, they don't know what to do with it.

Umm they pay more than half of their salary to the government. How much more do you insist they pay? And the difference between Dems and Reps is that dems think if you make 100k your rich and therefore you owe 60% of your salary to the gov.

There's no proof behind that statement at all. The larger part of the controversy is just that the rich get the taxs breaks, not that they should give all their money up.

Actually everyone gets the tax breaks if you looked at the bill. Proportionately the rich pay more taxes and then monatarily they get the biggest discount at the same rate but still pay a great amount more than anyone else.

I completely agree. Your taxes should be determined by your income (flat tax) without any deductions or allowances. Net Income - businesses and personal alike - should pay the same % in my opinion.
