    Snip:
Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.

Ryan’s campaign began to crumble on Monday following the release of embarrassing records from his divorce. In the records, his ex-wife, Boston Public actress Jeri Ryan, said her former husband took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New Orleans.

    the rest here.

I didn't believe Obama's grandmother or the Kenyan official when they said that he was born in Kenya, or the Hawaii official who said that the birth certificate was not real...but I sure as hell believe the Sunday Standard internet newspaper. Especially the fact that is says June 27, 2004 right on the top of the article.

There's a lot of stuff that can be faked...but it is impossible to create an internet news article and put an incorrect date on the top.

date is okay, just sloppy reporting driven by kenyan patriotism. sloppy reporting in getting the name wrong, and that the father was kenyan-born, instead of the son, the US senate hopeful.

but surely, this can become another 50 pages thread.

I find it funny how one can put any credence in what is written in an internet newspaper, yet disregard what was written in a print newspaper from nearly 50 years ago.
