Spock here. This is highly illogical and flat out disgusting. I want liberals on this forum to stop and think about this and answer truthfully if you agree with Kathy Griffin saying this about 17 year old Willow Palin on her Bravo Channel comedy special last night. Is what she said considered funny? Bravo channel is being called out for letting Griffin get away with this. Using pure logic, there should be no excuses to accept Kathy Griffins comments as acceptable.

I guess that liberal Democratic comics think this is pretty funny but I think it's pretty disgusting. It why I never watch those kind of shows. I don't see anything funny about it.

Libs eat this stuff up when it's a Republican on the receiving end....
They are still bitching about what Rush called Chelsea Clinton....
That they don't like.

Didn't the left insist that going after Children was a no no? I mean as I recall even mentioning the Children of the President with no bad comment is frowned on. But then their rules never apply to themselves.

The left also called for a toning down of the "dangerous rhetoric" after Gabby Giffords was shot which btw, was after Obama said, "If they bring a knife, we'll bring a gun".

The thought of possibly supporting a liberal cause or two isn't so outrageous. However the thought of being expected to run to the defense of the most indefensible and inexplicable statements and actions on such a regular basis in order to "keep the faith" leaves me wondering why ANYONE would want to call them self a liberal and be expected to so compromise their own intellect.

I seem to recall quite a few conservatives like myself being sick to death of GWB by the time he attempted to force through his own amnesty deal that we were ready to see him go.

Meanwhile, liberals seem more than willing to go down with the party ship.
That must be literally painful...

Comics aren't generally known for their class...I actually prefer people speaking their mind and showing their true colors. It is her choice to limit her audience to those amused by such material...being insulting towards any conservative is cool to her crowd, so she feeds their appetite for it with no regard for how she will be perceived by others. Tolerating rude people is a small price to pay for our freedoms.

Kathy Griffin is a specific type of comic (called a "roaster") and either one enjoys her rudely iconoclastic style or doesn't. Her fortè is bashing celebrities and public figures, even her own mother at times, and she's become a sellout performer. I personally enjoy her standup routines but I watched her tv show once and found it boring.

Another controversial comedian is Paul Mooney, a Black man whose routines focus on deriding White people. If I were Black I might find him funny, but I'm not so I don't. I don't watch his performances, which is all there is to say about it.
