Wouldn't kasich supporters be wise to support Cruz in the Race there? Kasich has no shot at winning the state and for kasich to have a shot he has keep Donald from 1237. How does that happen if Cruz doesn't win?

Because Kasich supporters don’t want Cruz to be the nominee any more than they want Trump.

And understandably so.

Indeed, why anyone would support the likes of Cruz is a mystery.

Cruz’s contempt for the rule of law alone renders him unqualified to be president.

For example, Cruz want’s to ‘amend’ the Constitution to allow the states to ‘overrule’ decisions by the Supreme Court:

Constitutional Remedies to a Lawless Supreme Court, by Ted Cruz, National Review

This is completely contrary to our Constitutional Republic and the rule of law, as citizens are subject solely to the rule of law, not the rule of ‘the majority.’

It goes without saying that Kasich supporters don't want Cruz to win the nomination. But that's not the point. The only way Kasich can win is by getting to a contested convention. If trump wins Indiana that is far more unlikely. If Cruz wins Indiana it creates a good chance it will happen.

Why would Kasich "have a shot" if Cruz won? This is upside down politics. It's not "a shot" and it's not even a "Hail Mary play", it's a desperate hope to subvert the will of the people and cheat his way into the nomination.
