Kansas cut taxes in 2012, then saw a $900M shortfall, a couple credit downgrades, economic growth below the national average, job growth below the national average, business creation below the national average, raised tuition costs, raised excise taxes, raised co-pays and out of pocket costs for Medicaid, raided the Highway Fund, raided the welfare block grant, and had to close schools early because they didn't have money to keep them open. And they still couldn't balance their budget.

You're gonna need to prove this. Crop and energy prices didn't fall for just Kansas, they fell for everyone, yet Kansas experienced slower GDP growth than all its neighbors who rely on the same resources Kansas does.

You're gonna need to prove this. Crop and energy prices didn't fall for just Kansas, they fell for everyone, yet Kansas experienced slower GDP growth than all its neighbors who rely on the same resources Kansas does.

thank you...the problem is never cutting taxes.....they increase tax revenue...the problem is always, always, politicians, especially democrat politicians spending and spending and then spending some more.....and then complaining that taxes are too low to support their spending....

If you spend more than even the tax cuts bring in.....then you still don't have enough money...this is what happened when Reagan cut taxes....revenue to the government almost doubled....the democrats spent double.....spending all the new money created by Reagan, and they kept spending.......
