Looks like K-Pop is no different than J-Pop. Terrible. All image, no substance.

A family friends' granddaughter Maria Abe is in that J-Pop group AKB48. Her grandfather is an American.

My wife and I watched their D.C. concert on Vimeo a few weeks ago. Just terrible. I think I've been hearing the same recycled J-Pop tunes since I first got to Japan in 1983.

The front row was filled with a bunch of J-Pop loving American nerdy pedophiles too.
