Justifying A Government Religion

To guno: If you are shooting for a laugh try Al Gore. In fact, I kind of miss Al. He was always good for laugh when he did his shtick even though everybody with a lick of sense knew that Gore was a huckster.

Global Warming Scammer Al Gore predicts no Arctic ice In 2013 - Summer ice sheet highest since 2006

Everybody knew Al was a laughable swindler except the Nobel Peace Prize Committee. Nowadays, it is sinful to laugh at the pathetic fools, the parasites, and the freakazoids every time they spout environmental absurdity.

Hate to break it to the members of the AGW religion in here but..............Inhofe is winning. He has spiked the ball in the faces of the AGW k00ks for years......that's why they hate him with a passion.

Inhofe is so effective at highlightinig that the EPA doesn't save the environment......it destroys lives. Anybody who doesn't get it navigates life with their thumbs firmly planted up their asses.

EPA Regs To Destroy 887 000 Jobs Per Year Senator Says Citing New Study CNS News

Just this week, Obama proposed to close a couple of dozen more coal plants via executive fiat. What you are saying to a couple of thousand people is, "FUCK YOU.......NO MORE JOB FOR YOU!! GO FLIP HAMBURGERS!!"

To the modern progressive, the tradeoff is perfect.........put people out of work via taxes to foster bigger government and more power and the herding of the sheep continues = utopia for these bozo's. Its called trickle-up poverty economics.:2up::eusa_dance::eusa_dance: Elitist goofball progressives love it!!:gay:

To skookerasbil: Good stuff.

Your political knowledge needs some serious remediation.

To Crick: All of the remediation in the world is not going to help Taqiyya the Liar. The scary part is that he might be sick enough to believe his own lies:

President Obama said Saturday that with the U.S. at the helm, the world must come together later this year and strike a groundbreaking climate-change accord or the planet as we know it may cease to exist.

XXXXX

“There’s new hope that, with American leadership, this year the world will finally reach an agreement to prevent the worst impacts of climate change before it’s too late,” he said. “This is an issue that’s bigger and longer-lasting than my presidency. It’s about protecting our God-given natural wonders and the good jobs that rely on them.

Oil and Coal Money in Politics
James M. Inhofe has accepted $311,800 in oil contributions during the 110th congress. $160,800 of those dollars were from industry PACS. In total, Inhofe received $662,506 from oil companies between 2000 and 2008, which makes him a top recipient of oil money. In addition to oil, Inhofe has received $152,800 in coal contributions during the 110th Congress. $94,500 of those dollars were from industry PACS. See above for oil and energy voting record.

To Bfgrn: Get serious. Taking money from petroleum corporations is legal. Taking money from foreign governments and individuals is illegal. And let’s not overlook this:

417cartoon.jpg

Though environmental impact statement after environmental impact statement from his own Department of State concludes that the Keystone XL Pipeline would not have a significant environmental impact, President Obama said the impact “could be disastrous.”

The alleged disaster would come from the carbon dioxide generated from the production and use of the 800,000 barrels of petroleum the pipeline would transport daily from Canada to our Gulf-Coast refineries.

XXXXX

If the impact of those 800,000 barrels (most of which would get to market even without the pipeline) are so problematic, how much more so would be the 800,000 barrels/day that are projected to get to the market from Iran if the international sanctions are lifted?

XXXXX

Doesn’t the president think the additional Iranian oil production “could be disastrous?”

About dam time we separate the enviro-wacko religion from science and government.. The left wing agenda is now to be exposed for the fraud it is

To Billy_Bob: One slight disagreement. Environmental-wacko designer-science is a tenet of the Socialist religion. Separate environmental fraud from the government and you still have Socialism.

What a bunch of bull shit... Lets talk the 857 BILLION dollars given to left wing hacks to make up science like evidence to promote their lie that a central control government is needed and personal rights and property ownership is not.. AGW is a lie and a Socialist/communist central control government is their goal. IT alwasy has been.

To Billy_Bob: Exactly so.

The truth is that Lefties never, ever, connect designer-science tax dollars to the United Nations where most of the money goes.

How ironic...the environmental policy of the right in America is IDENTICAL to the old communist central control of the Soviet Union.

To Bfgrn: Your idiocy made me realize that tax dollars operate the merry-go-round for the suckers:

No environmental impact Flanders?

Do you live under a rock?

To Bfgrn: Oh my God! How many industrial accidents will it take to melt the ice caps? Environmental parasites better get on that one immediately.

Incidentally, chopping down trees for fuel is the only thing left after the global warming freakazoids ban fossil fuels and nuclear power. On the plus side, the tree huggers and the global warming crowd will start killing each other.

p.s. All of the alternative energy sources combined will not save the trees. The two big ones, wind power and solar, are economic catastrophes. Wind power is also an environmental disaster.

Flanders, Billy and Skook are fascinating examples of how primitive tribes react when they suddenly meet a technological society that they don't understand.

Their posts? Cargo cult worship, denier style. They believe that if they set up these strange primitive imitations of rational thought in a public area, their gods will see, and will then return to them and bring them more welfare.

You really are a moron... UN AGENDA 21.... One of their main gripes was our US Constitution and personal rights granted from GOD not the government... Enviro-wackoism was the answer and they have been balls to the wall with moron Democrats ever since...

But winning sweets....:biggrin:....even primitive tribes use fossil fuels and will be doing so for a long, long, long, long time!!!

Cult status?

Hey.....we skeptics will take it and take a bow when doing so.....as long as renewables remain fringe energy sources = nobody cares about global warming!!:fu:

WOW...a total non sequitur reply. I am not talking about climate change, I'm talking about pollution, permanent environmental damage and health risks to human, fish and fowl from tar sands spills.

Do yourself a favor. READ the article and look into tar sands; a mixture of sand, water, clay and bitumen. Bitumen is so thick that it can't flow through pipelines until it's mixed with liquid chemicals to form diluted bitumen, or dilbit. To "liquify" tar sands to flow through a pipeline, toxic chemicals are used to dilute tar sands crude, chemicals like benzene — a known carcinogen.

When a spill occurs, the first danger is the toxic chemicals that are dangerous to life forms. When the toxic chemicals evaporate, the bitumen is a molasses that sinks to the bottom of the river. There is no way to completely remove it.

The clean up cost of the spill in the Kalamazoo River will cost $1.21 billion dollars and there is still an estimated 180,000 gallons of bitumen in the Kalamazoo River.

To Bfgrn: What the hell is a spill?

Simply explain how any kind of an industrial accident gets to the EPA. Forget the fish and fowl. I doubt if freakazoid Gina McCarthy is claiming that the Clean Air Act gives the EPA regulatory authority over accidents.

accident (noun)

1 .a. An unexpected, undesirable event: car accidents on icy roads. b. An unforeseen incident: went to college in England by happy accident.

2. Lack of intention; chance: ran into an old friend by accident.

3. Logic. A circumstance or an attribute that is not essential to the nature of something.

Hello? Is anyone home? The POINT...the President was RIGHT to refuse to approve the Keystone XL pipeline. It is a MAJOR accident (noun) waiting to happen.

To Crick & Bfgrn: I realize that I am talking to exceptionally stupid liberals; so I will keep it simple for you.

Show me the constitutional authorization that gives the president, the Congress, the courts, or federal bureaucracies the authority to outlaw accidents. I’ll settle for the institution of your choice. If you cannot find proof anywhere, write a brief law in your own words that will codify your position. If you can manage that one for me, it can also be used to stop accidental pregnancies.

It is clear you are dumber than dogshit...CRYSTAL.

You can't outlaw accidents, but you CAN prevent pipeline accidents by NOT BUILDING A PIPELINE.

Your really are a fuck tard... Do you realize how many pipelines we have already and that they are the safest way to transport fluids of all types by leap and bounds over every other means.

Fear mongering enviro wackoism at its finest..

In both the United States and Canada, more crude oil, petroleum products, and natural gas are transported in pipelines than by all other modes combined, using the unit of ton-mile which is the number of tons shipped over number of miles (The Fraser Institute).

Carly Fiorina ran not one, but two major corporations into the ground. She's regarded as the worst CEO in modern history.

Since she faceplanted so spectacularly, naturally skook considers her to be a role model. Like so many conservatives, abject failure is the god that he worships, while success is what his cult hates most. That hatred and jealousy of success is why the bedwetters rage so hysterically at liberals.

Believe manmade global warming is real if you must, but there is no way you can justify tax dollars paying to promote your belief:

Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairman Sen. Jim Inhofe told Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy Friday to hand over information about the extent left-leaning nonprofit advocacy groups' influenced greenhouse gas regulations on power plants.

"While it is well known that these rules will have a devastating economic impact on state and local governments, businesses, and private citizens, very little is known about the amount of taxpayer dollars and agency resources that have already gone into developing these rules," the Oklahoma Republican told McCarthy in a letter.

"The extent of EPA's ongoing, close coordination with these groups and individuals and lack of transparency about expenditures in support of these rule makings are unacceptable," he said.

Inhofe wants documents on EPA coordination with nonprofit environmental groups WashingtonExaminer.com

Bottom line: Either you want to live in a parasite society, or you want to live in a society dedicated to individual freedoms:

First Amendment

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Jim Inhofe heading this committee is akin to the Fox guarding the henhouse.

I am happy to give the same reply to Ted Cruz:

the language of the global wamring alarmists, "denier" is the language of religion -- it is heretic, you are a blasphemer.
