Just some opinions

Drinking at work is a good idea, as long as you're not operating heavy machinery.

I'm trying to give you advice to hasten you along your road to freedom.

I drank it, against company policy. Screw them and their control structure! lol.

What about driving and drinking in the US? Here we have regular controls of alcohole, beyond 0.2 %o it is a fellony and your license is revoked and you will face I think up to 6 month in jail. (The lesser penalty for drinking and driving).

From movies one get the impression that in USA it's okay to drive if you can walk straight?

Easy for you to say, you dont have 56% tax on your income do you?

Here is a nice little calculation.

Lets say my compnay would like to pay me $10.
First $3 goes into tax.
So now they will pay me $7. I get that money and about $2 goes into income tax.
Left with $5.
Now I would like to fill up my car. So 1l of gas costs $1. But before I get to buy it there is a tax of like 10% added to the price = $1.10. Then i have to pay v.a.t. 25% and it results in $1.30?

So a get like 4l of gas and head for town and happens to pass a toll where my car transponder immitiatly send info the IRS - $2 is drawn from my account.

I live in tax hell!

Yes it does. There is a limit of how much money you can earn by working.
Acctually you can loose money if you get a raise!

If you cross a line in an incomecolumn you get, for instance, a higer daycare fare and less money left.

Happened to my father, when my mom went to work. Her piddly $150/month job bumped them into a higher tax bracket.
