Just like Greece, California is in trouble again

I love those "projections" , it's why when people post these rediculous numbers of how things will turn out, make my eyes glaze over. When will people learn, you cant predict 3 months from now, and these morons want to predict 10 years from now. They should do an anual budget and the more laws congress passes, the more laws they have to reauthorize, so they might actually prioritize what is really important.

Federal taxpayers should bail out Mexifornias failed socialist state.............

For the People !!!

Can you say counting your chickens before they hatch? It looks like someone was planning on Facebook to do well.

Plunge in Facebook Shares Has California Seeing Red | Fox Business

Using Facebook revenues to justify an analogy to Greece is one hell of a stretch!

There are more analogous commonalities between Cali and Greece than that. And a lot of them.

The municipal bond problems, the public employee pension problems, the swaps problems. These make California more like Greece than some IPO. And some of them are ticking time bombs under California of which the taxpayers are not yet even aware!

So you mean decades of liberal ideology and millions of illegal aliens haven't turned out to be a recipe for success?

Pretty much but that hasn't stopped them from doubling and tripling down on failure. Then, they're flummoxed when people are moving out of the state in record numbers.

Well, they just reinstated the guy that took them down this road that brought them to where they are, complete morons vote there. True story.

Oh yeah, moonbeam. Now, he's spending billions on a useless rail that CA can't afford.

Mexico isn't going to take California! They Mexican government will be, "no way man, crippling debt, a business environment that fleeing, budget that can never be even close to met, bankrupt cities, worst education system in the country, highest cost of living in the country so forth and so one, you can keep CA, since Mexico has it's own problems without that headache!"

Liberals plan against the reconquesidora, make the States so unattractive that not even Mexico wants them!

I was not saying California was like Greece because of the IPO. I was saying like Greece being ok the in trouble, then ok, then in trouble over and over again as the comparison to California.

You know what that shit tells me? It tells me that obummer has promised him a bailout.

And both regions destroyed by the same thing. Parasite illegals who invade for the freebies.

Hang all illegals and shoot everyone who supports them.

While I disagree with George Will on some issues, he sometimes offers some real gems:

George Will: A Golden State train wreck - The Washington Post

From the piece:

State Sen. Joe Simitian’s district office near Stanford’s campus is nestled among shops sporting excruciatingly cute names (A Street Bike Named Desire, Mom’s the Word maternity wear) intended to make the progressive gentry comfortable with upscale consumption by presenting it as whimsical. (Note: Having lived there the first 23 years of my life, this one almost made me spit out my coffee in laughter)

This community surely has its share of advanced thinkers who think trains are wonderful because they are not cars (rampant individualism; people going wherever and whenever they want, unsupervised).

The article, of course, is about California's breathtaking, $100 billion high speed train madness. So it can only be funny in places.
