Just get over it.

But all that is what it is however it plays out in history, and really does not have any bearing on what our policy should be to deal with the thugs, misfits, and opportunists who intend to hurt us as much as they possibly can.

Or maybe the US can also take some responsibility. You want to be part of the Great Game, people - including US citizens - will get hurt...

So are you one of those who think because the USA is not perfect according to your standards, it should stick out its jaw and let the terrorists have at it because we somehow deserve it?

Or are you one of those who thinks the evil USA created terrorists?

If you think neither of these things, then what do you think the basic US policy should be in dealing with those who will destroy us and our way of life if they get opportunity to do so?

Look at it this way. If terrorists want to attack the US and kill innocent civilians for whatever reason(s) that is their choice. If we stop them, fine if we don't some people die.

Then if we neutron bomb some of their more radical areas disproportionately killing the terrorists/supporters that is our right/choice to respond, correct? IMHO if we kill a lot more of them than they kill of us, they should eventually stop.
