    But... toward the end (yes I watched the whole thing), it mentions massive methane releases as a contributor to mass extinction.

    BTW- where's part 2!

    That is part of the Earth's history. Kind of hard to avoid history, when you are talking history.

    Can't find part 2. Not on Youtube.

    Everyone avoids history. That's why we're always repeating it. :D

    Nah- I enjoyed the video. But I'll admit I'm geo-stupid. I just hire geologists to do my thinking for me.

    So, before I watch that new video of yours... is there a part 2?

    Yes, but part 3 is missing. Damn. I like this one. Animation is wonderful, appeals to the kid in me.

    Thanks for the vids, but I need a sober head before diving in. Perhaps on the morrow.

    And you probably know by now that I'm a tad skeptical of anything labeled "the future of".
