You left out the U.S. Are we a socialist country?

Anyone want to help the OP out with this question? He seems to be stumped.

I notice the OP left out COMMUNIST China. How are they doin'?

I suspect the OP secretly wishes we could more like them.

China is about as communist as South Korea. I never heard of a communist country with a stock market.

I guess China's a republic then. I guess China's economic success is based on their wholehearted embrace of the principles of liberty and civil rights.

Creating at least the illusion of personal liberty and civil rights will enhance the possiblitiy that a Capitalistic ecomomy will flourish.

Complete control of personal activity and thought will hamper the free exercise of economic perogative. The Capitalistic economy will most reasonably operate well within a society of free association and activity and communication, but it is not required.

Personal liberties are charachteristics of a social system. Capitalism is an economic system.

Yeah you partians just keep bickering amongst yourselves while your masters empty out the American larder of all its vittles.

Some of you, if you're especially loyal tools, I'm sure your masters remember fondly as they witness this nation go down from whatever haven they've set up for themselves.

Bush II will be in his enormous ranchero in Uraguy, I expect.

Wonder where the KOCH bothers and Soros will be holding up while we Americans are killing ourselves squabbling over the crumbs that they left behind?

Fools!

It's based on the institution of private property in the means of production and free exchange. Those are the foundation of capitalism. Civil rights are irrelevant to economics.

"RachelMadcow" appears to have omitted Japan from the list, whose gross-debt-to-GDP ratio may reach over 225% (and that was before the "earthquake.") That is more than twice the American debt ratio.

But Japan is not an example of a "socialist" country in debt, so it is conveniently excluded from "the list."

Socialism didn't caused those crises . What caused those series of crises and a global recession were the international bankers running amok, creating bubbles and nontransparent toxic trading assets.

You need to be weened off of Beck's nipple.

Cuba has been a joke for 50 years and you blame their plight on Bush.....:eusa_naughty:
