Why is it okay for an American citizen to also identify as a patriotic Israeli, but if a Pakistani American were to do the same, it would be considered unpatriotic?

When Pakistan apologizes for having protected bin Laden while taking billions of American money and becomes a democracy, it might be less unpatriotic.

They claimed it was just a mistake, they thought he was an Egyptian horse Transporter

I know what your getting at, and its laughable. I believe your are saying, the reason why is Pakistan is a muslim country, and if that's what your saying, its just an example of muslim propaganda.

Bin Laden was not the only terrorist harbored by pakistan, there are still terrorist today being that we believe are in Pakistan. Our intelligence community has often claimed Pakistan is a double agent in the war on terror...the country is filled with radicals.

They didn't give us the access we wanted, to the Bin Laden Family, immediately after the raid...they even allowed China to have a look at the helicopter propeller we destroyed in the raid.

They are our enemy, just like the Soviets during the cold war, and even Russia now. That's why their is a stigma attached.

OBL is considered a freedom fighter hero to muslims, so that's like saying those patriotic Israeli-Americans support all the terrorists who founded Israel and who continue their terrorism today.
Depends where you're looking from.

Sure does.
"- President Ronald Reagan met the leaders of the Islamic Jihad at the White House in 1985

-Under the Reagan adminstration, US foreign policy evolved towards the unconditional support and endorsement of the Islamic "freedom fighters". In today's World, the "freedom fighters" are labelled "Islamic terrorists".

-In the Pashtun language, the word "Taliban" means "Students", or graduates of the madrasahs (places of learning or coranic schools) set up by the Wahhabi missions from Saudi Arabia, with the support of the CIA.

-Education in Afghanistan in the years preceding the Soviet-Afghan war was largely secular. The US covert education destroyed secular education. The number of CIA sponsored religious schools (madrasahs) increased from 2,500 in 1980 to over 39,000.

The Soviet-Afghan war was part of a CIA covert agenda initiated during the Carter administration, which consisted in actively supporting and financing the Islamic brigades, later known as Al Qaeda. "

Problem profiteering. Duh murkin way !

Why is it okay for an American citizen to also identify as a patriotic Israeli,

Who considers THAT okay?

With the exception of children who have as yet not achieved their majority, I do not subscribe to the theory that duel citizenship is "okay"

Not for any American citizen, at least.

You're either an American citizen, or you're not.

Who the fk cares what you think? The US permits dual citizenship.

Reagan was a treasonous son of a bitch.

But he had nice hair and a great speaking voice.

What about Israel apologising for spying on the US while taking billions of American dollars?

The Reagan years, that's when cocaine REALLY started to flow! I think they called that Reaganomics: improving economic activity through cocaine.

Me.

And I am just egotistical enough to really not care, or be offended, if you agree.

But I will, FWIW, defend your right -- even up unto your death, -- to speak your mind, too.

Cause that's just the way this freedom-loving American rolls, amigo.

The US permits dual citizenship.

Yeah, and it is a bad idea.

It creates citizens whose loyalty to this nation is, or might be, conflicted.

Duel citizens are a bad idea, in my opinion (an opinion that you clearly have every right not to care about).

Pakistan does not share any US interests or values. Israel does.

Good to see Israel recycling the US aid money...hey, does that mean that technically the US are buying their own goods?!
