In a once affluent but now run-down part of East London, a fire destroyed a dilapidated four storey house, that had been converted into four flats. A Nigerian family of six internet scammers, all claiming benefit, lived on the 1st floor, and all six tragically perished in the fire which swept through the building at an alarming rate.
A group of seven Islamic welfare cheats, all illegally in the country, lived on the 2nd floor, and all perished in the fire.
Six Romanian gypsies occupied the 3rd floor, all claiming political asylum, living off the state for free, and they too died.
The 4th floor was occupied by a middle aged English couple who miraculously survived.
The Equal Opportunities Commission, Amnesty International, Liberty, Rights Activists, Black community leaders, and the British Islamic Council were in uproar at this blatant racist attack in a so called modern multicultural Britain. Why was it ONLY the white English occupants escaped unharmed? Racism they all cried, and the press quickly got hold of the story, and it was soon national news.
Boris Johnson the Mayor of London was interviewed, but declined to make a comment until a full investigation was completed by the London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police within 36 hours.
The extremists howled in anger, and the press twisted the circumstances to make a story, he was out of touch with normal Londoners.
The press conference was duly held. The Fire Chief, Met Commissioner, Council Officials, the news teams and cameras, photographers, and the various representatives of the ethnic groups, all wanting to know why the Africans, Black Muslims and Romanians had all died in the fire, and only the white couple had survived.
A bemused Fire Chief quietly answered, Because they were both at work.
