I'm not saying a bad verdict, but I'm not seeing 'why.'
It's still braking news. That's all they have put up so far. Give it a bit longer and more info will come out.
I don't really see what the big deal is. She outed herself in the late 90's when she went inactive. She had to be a real idiot to think that the other countries didn't have an idea who she was when she went back active again.
Here you have a woman who serves in our country's intelligence community in a covert capacity being outed and repeatedly denied justice. She has no recourse in Congress because Bush just ignores, she has no criminal justice Libby because Bush pardons those who are convicted of crimes and she has no justice in the civil system either. Apparently this woman must simply take the consequences of the decision of a guy named George who is from some town in Texas because George is apparently better then Joe and Valarie.
This is just another pathetic example of how this guy George betrays those who serve our country in the military or who serve in a covert capacity by either sending them to die based on his opinion or disclosing their covert capacity to the entire world because he wanted to make a point about how this woman sent her husband on this mission when it is clear to everyone that she was not the final decision-maker. So in response to your statement that you do not "see what the big deal is" I respond by saying that the big deal is that you and those who agree with you have violated this woman's rights on more than one occasion. First by disclosing her covert capacity at the CIA, then ignoring Congressional investigations on the matter followed by a pardon of Libby who was convicted by a jury of his peers.
Here this guy George from some town called Crawford in Texas decided he was above the law and above the legal system and could simply commute the sentence of his pal Scooter even though a prosecutor charged him with crimes which he was convicted of and a judge then sentenced him based on the recommendation of the federal probation office and the prosecutor. The court's actions was then upheld by the appeals court but of course George after a long night fucking his wife on our tax dollars decided his pal Scooter wouldn't spend a day in jail. Then when Valarie Plame tries to gain justice in the civil courts her rights are furthered violated by this judge based on his opinion that the Administration was acting within the scope of its authority when revealing her covert status. So now this woman not only has to endure her rights being violated by people like you "who don't see the big deal" when you violate the rights of other but she has to endure being called an idiot for wanting justice. It is this lack of justice that should make every American angry because it shows that no matter who you vote for, whether you go to criminal court, or even civil court you are fucked if his Royal Highness the President is the person who has harmed you yet we call ourselves a representative democracy based on the rule of law. It seems to me that it is a country based on the rule of the Republican Party whether they are in the majority or majority where the rule of law does not exist for those who are Republicans. It is ironic that no one mentions the fact that Joseph Wilson donated to George Bush's campaign which only goes to show that he and his wife are not partisan's like George, the husband of a woman named Laurie who probably went to the same high school as many other people who disagree with her and her husband and yet whose children aredying for their opinions.
Ahhh-men. Thus concludes today's sermon, ladies and gentleman. Be sure to drop by the plate on the way out
Your comical. Another person I really feel sorry for. What about the fact that she outed herself in 97? That was her fault. Second of all what about the 140 people Clinton pardoned at the end of his Presidency people who commited severe crimes and who happened to contribte to his campaign and the Democratic Party, but im sure you will have an excuse for this because everything is Bush's fault.
Sounds almost like Hitler when he attributed all of Germanys' woes on the Jews.
