Hmmm.... A Christian has a choice between what reads as a suggestion in Romans 13, vs what clearly is a stark and dire commandment in Romans 1 and Jude 1 .

Suggestion? Not only does Romans 13 EXPLICITLY tell Christians to obey the law- it also says that those who don't are rebelling against God. And will be punished. AND tells Christians that if they refuse to obey the law, they deserve punishment from the authorities- you know like how the bakers are being punished.

Meanwhile Romans 1 and Jude 1 never tell anyone not to break the law and refuse to bake a cake.
