II think its a good idea. New parents can take time off to care for new born babies, and draw down some of gtheir SS money, and then make it up by working longer when gthey approach retirement. Not sure how the actuaries figure out how much more time they owe when later, but it sounds like a good idea. I think Ivanka promoted something like this.
