Jon Stewart take on the War on Christmas

Christmas offends heathens so they change the name. Christmas is Christ's birthday, you can't change that, you can just deny it.

It's the day the sun returns from it's jouney south, a celestial event celebrated for eons. It marks the begining of longer days and shorter nights. I'm not offended by the masses beleiving it is their Savior's birthday. It is amusing.

That whole miraculous conception and running from the Powers that Be stuff and the Heavens indicating the birth is SOOOOO pagan.

It is the Christmas Season

Time for the annual rituals of:
- excessive lights on the house
- cards to people you barely know or like
- Fox News running endless stories about the attack on Christmas

Evergreens and candles, used to celebrate the Winter Solstice, by Pagans, to brighten the longest night of the year.
