They're soap stone.

You keep them in the freezer and use them to cool down your drink without watering it down.

These spherical ice things are cool too since they don't melt as fast as cubes

Nice...I'll have to try that....There is a youtube vid going around on ice frozen in a balloon that is then placed in a cat dish (after being removed from the balloon of course).....the cats love it for some reason....

Soap stone eh? Interesting....My dad had a bunch of soap stone when he was alive...he welded and used it to mark steel.....I'll have to try it.
