Just on Fox...reasons for downgrading America.
1) Politics - "The American President said our government is dysfunctional, that is a pretty good word to use to describe the lack of confidence that anything passed would be binding".
2) Debt to GDP has quadrupled, long term trajectories show a clear inability to pay debts.
In other words - the U.S. Government is failing the American people, and there is no confidence that this will change anytime in the near future.
