    I have heard nothing but rave reviews about this. I have yet to see it but am very motivated.

    Haven't seen it, but it looks good.

    Making history come alive is often fraught with pitfalls, (for oe thing they're makig up most of the dialogue) but I think that turning people on to the fact that these people were living people facing real problems makes forgiving whatever mistakes and liberties that the creators might have made forgiveable.

    I liked it very much, and, going in, I thought it was a seven part series about the history beer making in America...

    Read the book! The mini series was decent, but the book was much much better.

    I agree. "The Adams Chronicles" by Jack Sheperd is better than McCullough's book though. And that is saying a lot.

    thanx for the responces, i will buy a copy so i hope youre all right! paul giamatti is one of my favorite actors so i hope im not disapointed.
