The reason they want mandatory coverage is so people won't game the change in the pre-existing conditions rule for insurance companies. If you force insurance companies to take people with pre-existing conditions, then some people will just wait until they get sick.

Ya know? That's all well-and-good? But how does that address the point of covering Illegals?

You still have not stated how much of your own money you are willing to give so illegals can get gastric bypass surgery (which is covered under Medicaid) I say nothing. What say you?
