He is cursed, and as a Red Sox fan I couldn't be happier.

That's not meant to sound as mean as it does, I don't wish personal harm on him, just glad he isn't the pitching threat he once was.

You can't pay somebody to have common sense. You'd think that a guy like Chamberlain with so much a stake would be so stupid as to take off his shoes and start jumping around on the trampoline with his kid. But it's not the mentality of a pro athlete. They just don't imagine that anything bad could ever happen until after it already did.

Things could be worse... He could have shot his pecker off like Burress did. Or he could have got caught fighting dogs like Vick did. Or he could have been thrown from the back of a moving truck while he was fighting with his girlfriend like Henry did. The list just goes on and on and on.
