Jewish Peer pleads for Muslim children

Theresa May, prime minister of Britain has been making the rounds to win favor from so-called President Trump and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, president of Turkey, in preparation for England pulling-out of the European Union but she has little care for the unaccompanied refugee children on her doorstep.

It is reported in THE TIMES today that only 350 unaccompanied children will be accepted of the 3,000 promised homes and safety in Britain under a plan named after Lord Dubs who himself was welcomed as a child needing shelter from the Third Reich because he is a Jew. Lord Dubs begged Theresa May not to shut the door on the Muslim children but her heart is stone. Socialist Lord Dubs was asking her to show caring: "I saw that compassion and courage in Sir Nicholas Winton, who rescued me as a child from the Nazi regime, along with 669 Jewish children" he added (page 12).

The plan is to end because Conservative Theresa May reported that there was not enough room for the vulnerable children fleeing conflict. Such is the government which has invited Donald Trump to meet the Queen this year.
