Jesus was a capitalist – not a socialist

.
Judas rebuked the act claiming that the ointment could have been sold and the money given to the poor. Jesus responded that there was more about the kingdom than feeding the poor.

- there are those here that will salivate over those words - and actually believe the quote was not a forgery ...

There are so many parables and verses in the bible that when taken into complete context easily refute the bed wetter lies about Jesus being a commie.

Jesus taught the world about faith in God, not government.

I'm not a religious zealot, I haven't been to a church in years, haven't touched a bible in years.

I just KNOW that God, the creator of all that is, put His Holy Spirit in Jesus and gave humanity a choice to do what all of us know through instinct is righteous.

You don't have to spend all your life reading scripture, groveling in churches and following goofy people.

<<So, was Jesus really a socialist and is the gospel a message of socialism? The answer is “NO!”>>

Jesus was a capitalist – not a socialist | Reclaiming America for Christ
And there ya go, taking the Christ outta Christianity again.

I know this has already been posted, maybe you missed it?

Rules for Radicals, use the oppositions book against them, for they cant stay within its boundaries. Liberals who hate Jesus only bring up Jesus when it suits their needs. Bunch of fucking hypocrites.

They will all die. The Book of Acts describes 2 people dropping dead instantaneously for lying that they didn't pocket some of the communal money for themselves personally like a socialist leader.

Redistribution of wealth is when everyone's taxes go to boarder guards;the military pay, money to make military equipment, VA benefits, food and shelter for military members; the US congress salaries, health ins, and pension; Federal and State workers, benefits, and pension plans; public school teachers, police, firemen, schools, libraries,
local zoos, ICE, and the big one TAX, even those who make min. wage. All gets redistributed.

Obama was right,
“[W]hen you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

The term ‘socialism’ has been used to describe positions as far apart as anarchism, Soviet state Communism, and social democracy; however, it necessarily implies an opposition to the untrammeled workings of the economic market. The socialist parties that have arisen in most European countries from the late 19th century have generally tended towards social democracy

Also Jesus and his apostles lived off of rich women because they gave up fishing and their families. The first Christian church was set up like a commune.

Goes to show that Jesus had little use for money, but it was the thought and act that counted.

The group that is like the socialists is the Sadducees of the Gospels, not Jesus.

What? The Sadducee were the aristocrat class, nobility, with inherited offices, lands, etc. They weren't 'free marketers', but hardly 'socialists'.

In any case, such terms didn't exist then, and few capitalists believe in fair trade or honest pay for proles, so it's a moot point; same old stuff, different day, when it comes to privatizing the profits while socializing the costs when it comes to most of modern 'capitalism'.

"nobility with inherited offices and lands"? what were their "inherited offices"? on what basis were they "inherited" where did you get this "information". Were they also the "religious leaders" that some seem to imagine Jesus disliked? Did they control the Sanhedrin?
I don't deny that Jesus disliked the sadducees-------of course he did---- They are
no longer extant------DA PHARISEES WON. A little quiz----was Herod a Sadducee? a Pharisee? How about CAIAPHAS?------the guy who handed
Jesus over to Pilate----CAIAPHAS ---Pharisee? recognized religious leader?
Are you a SADDUCEE pic?

What was Jesus’ view of immigrants?

cast not your pearls before swine
That’s the best you can come up with?

You shall allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the aliens who reside among you and have begotten children among you. They shall be to you as citizens of Israel; with you they shall be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel.
Ezekiel 47:22

Thus says the Lord of hosts: Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another; do not oppress the widow, the orphan, the alien, or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.
Zechariah 7:9-10

I don't remember anything about Jesus paying "HIS TAX" There was a yearly
sort of tax people paid----1/2 shekel to the temple----but it is so trivial that it never
created a problem for anyone. The Romans were the big "TAXERS" ------

you can be executed under SHARIAH LAW-----a system in which Jesus is
a muslim prophet. In a synagogue----you are likely to be avoided and
denied access to the schnapps. Hindus tend to have a sense of humor---
