Citing concerns about his family’s privacy, Jesse Ventura, the former professional wrestler and Minnesota governor, announced on Monday that he would not run as an independent candidate for United States Senate.#

“I am not going to run at this moment,” Mr. Ventura told CNN’s Larry King, noting that the only thing that might change his mind is “an act of God.” He made the announcement ahead of Tuesday’s candidate filing deadline in Minnesota.
