Chicago teen beaten to death by group of youths

CHICAGO (AP) - Police in Chicago are investigating the death of a 16-year-old boy, who was beaten by a group of youths in a vacant lot near a community center in the city's Roseland neighborhood.
Authorities say Derrion Albert was a student at Fenger High School and was attacked at about 3 p.m. Thursday. Police say he was punched and kicked all over his body, and the Cook County medical examiner's office says he died from blunt trauma.
Police say Albert was attacked near the Agape Community Center and people in the area came to his assistance.
Agape Director Milton Massy says he saw the teens converge on the area, "hopping over cars, bringing sticks." Massy says "it was like a riot." No arrests have been made.

You are right he was black not that it matter to me. He might have been attacked for acting white. However, these aspects of black culture could be out of date. My knowledge of such thing is about twenty to thirty years old. I call a gang attack a “Jena” for Jena Louisiana.
