There were plenty of people and places for Japan to spend the $US$29million on rather than on sending ships to Antarctica to massacre whales.

Foolish actions by Greenpeace activists, who are only trying to save the Arctic from becoming another 'Gulf of Mexico'/US coast oil covered disaster.

They could've drawn attention without going that far.
