good for them, good for us
This is just the beginning. When China acquires advanced weaponry from the French and others in the EU, Japanese and Taiwanese defense spending will dramatically accelerate. Will Japan be content with a passive ballistic missile defense provided by America? Will Japan continue to rely on America's retaliatory nuke capability? Or will the pressure to build Japanese nukes to balance China and the DPRK become too great? What is the half-life of the pacifist Japanese constitution? The French desire to sell advanced weaponry to China is demented and will destabilize Asia. Who are the sociopaths advising Chirac?
I think it's great that Japan wants to step up its defense - it should and needs to..
Although American would be by Japan's side in a heartbeat if the crap hit the fan, it could still take a few days for our fleets to show up - more power to ya Japan...
it is bad for the other poor country.
wtf? what "other" poor country?
You make no sense in most of your posts. Are you ignorant or as -=d=- asked, just trying to get your post count up?
