Jack Welch Suggests Jobs Report Rigged

Mr. Welch countering his accusation, he only has to say it and those who are predisposed to believing it will buy it instantly and scream it from the mountaintops.

Jack Welsh: These three statistics—the labor-force participation rate, the growth in government workers, and overall job growth, all multidecade records achieved over the past two months—have to raise some eyebrows. There were no economists, liberal or conservative, predicting that unemployment in September would drop below 8%.

If senile, say why, or admit to being a just another dumb liberal without the IQ to do so!!

First, I am not the one that called Mr. Welch senile. I have every respect for him as a businessman.

Second, I am a Republican. If the conspiracy kooks who have been invading my party for the last few years get much worse, I may take my membership and my vote elsewhere. Not to Obama, of course, but I am considering embracing the 3rd party more and more these days.

Third, at no point did I ever suggest that the BLS numbers were reliable, simply that if they are not now, then they never were.

first, Jack has a Ph.d too
second, it would be absurd to abandon the Party to nuts
third, rarely has their been a better time than now for Democrats to lie about the numbers

I have an MBA, big whoop. That doesn't mean I know whether or not BLS numbers were fudged by the current administration. I have believe that no such thing happened. That doesn't make me a liberal or an Obama supporter. Geez, the fucking polarized country we have become.

an MBA is nothing like a Ph.d in Chemistry.

then its a huge huge coincidence that all those multi decade records were broken, as Jack says

polarized is a great great thing when we have a communist in the WH who had two communist parents and voted as senator to the left of Bernie Sanders. Would you rather we accept his communism? or encourage him to take over all industries as he has taken over health care??

Communist, ay? Not a socialist, but a communist. Way to push that envelope.

You're right, an MBA is nothing like a PH.D in chemistry. WTF? So, a PH.D in chemistry qualifies somebody in judging the practices of the BLS? If that's the case I'm going to claim that my MBA qualifies me to be an NFL official.

Will you wackos please, please, PLEASE stop this nonsense and focus on what Obama has actually done or failed to do? For fuck's sake I want him out of the White House. You kooks are going to hand it back over to him yet again if you continue with this nonsense.

The paranoia is great on the far right wing of the Republican Party.

It is you who can't understand the numbers, you mean.

You can say that all you want, but if you don't have the evidence of how you come up with your numbers, then that is simply your opinion.

The question is, where did the extra 759,000 jobs that has to be added come from?
You can't say 114,000 jobs were added and then say unemployment dropped like that.

The number of 114,000 in Sept. comes for the Bureau of labor Statistics. It's not me who came up with the numbers.

"Supposedly said"? I heard him...
That's nice; you're convinced you heard it. We'll be convinced too when we get a transcript/video so we can "heard it" too. Reality is that there is no video/transcript. Yet. What exists is: Jack Welch: I Was Right About That Strange Jobs Report - WSJ.com. Either prove to everyone that the voices you're hearing are real or stop talking about them.

You are wasting your time with snarkey, it's like talking to a stump...

He's has a broken head...

The number's just don't add up.
In Aug. unemployment rate was 8.1%, then it went to 7.8%
Jobs added in Sept. were 114,000.
In order for the rate to go from 8.1% to 7.8% you need to add 873,00 jobs.
Yeah, sure. You have it all figured out. Must be a conspiracy. Because it is what you want to believe.

The numbers left out a large state that is suspected of being California with a state UE rate of about 15%.
And when you do not like the numbers, make up something. Like leaving out California with a 15% unemployment rate. Yeah, thats it. No need to show any proof. Just make it up.
Except, of course, that is bs. Calif has an unemployment rate of 10.6%. Could have looked it up in seconds, but better to use numbers that you like, rather than real numbers.
Unemployment Rates for States

Making things up to prove a point is dishonest. But worse yet, it wastes peoples time. If you want to believe what you want to believe, and to hell with the truth, just go do so. Quite wasting others time.

Not one poster here has offered a real, documented reasoning why the numbers don't add up.

Until the protesters "add up", then all they are doing is simply yelling, which is their right.

No, not a conspiracy at all. It's how they changed it, in order to make it look better.
The jobs are mostly temporary for the Holidays and will get corrected when it is released again at the beginning of the New year.

If there is a "they" that purposely changed the number for political advantage, then it is, by definition, a conspiracy. I don't believe it, though. It's more likely simple inherent flaws in the system that have always been there. If anybody bothered to review past BLS reports with the energy they are applying to this one, they would find similar issues.

Jack Welch said he had no evidence.

End of story.

no evidence??? a discouraged labor force is shrinking so unemployment is going down thanks to Obozo economics!! There are now 3.5 million fewer jobs than in 2007 and that is with 10,000 retiring each day!!

Go play basketball Jake!

Jack Welch he said he had no evidence, only that he believed it.

Bet you $10,000, EB, you can't come up with the numbers and BLS folks saying it was a conspiracy.

You on? Are you running like the last time I offered you such a bet on Jefferson and you skedaddled.

If you use the math that Ryan and Mittens use for their budget on the jobs report, no, the numbers won't add up right.

But then again, the numbers don't add up right for their budget either.
