Easy recipe fo white folks:

1 big can of canned yams. You now. The big one. Dats bigger than the little one.
Drain it. in da sink.
Dump yams in bowl.
Add about a cuppa brown sugar.
Add a whole stick o' real buttah.
Beat the hell outta it til its nice an' smooth.
Dump whole pile in baking pan. 9x9 or even a bigger 'un.
Pour them teeny tiny marshmellows on top. Bunch of 'em
Stick in oven til mellos are golden brown.
Done.

Or, slap mess in pre made pie shell. Do same as above.
Done.
