My son will be going under the knife in the morning. He has a cyst right under his scalp that they will be removing. Supposedly it is a simple procedure and he will be back home tomorrow in the afternoon. Still has me a little bit worried. Ya never know what can go wrong. :(

Just saw, prayers to your son and you. Let us know that everything is fine.

dont worry brother everything will go smooth and he'll be back home tomarrow terrorizing you and the wife!

Chuck, damn you, I wish I knew about this. I am sure he will be fine - I had that same feeling when Jaelynn had to have both her eyes done. Not only did she see the OR once, but twice in the same day. Being worried is natural. My prayers are with you and your family. Please let us know as soon as you can!!!

If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask!

will say a prayer for the lil guy tonite. am sure that all will go as planned, kids are lots tougher then we give em credit for. If I were you i would be more worried about him busting open the stiches for being a lil boy. keep an eye on him.

Jackass,

Hope all went well with your little one. I know it must be difficult but I'm sure everything will work out okay...

love,

moi

Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes. Woke up this morning..took him to the hospital, sat around for about an hour and a half...Dr came in for one final look at my son and decided not to do the procedure. She now thinks it isnt a cyst but is a lymph node.
Now most people would be releived at the news, me being the skeptic that I am was not happy with this turn of events.
My son has had this since he was born. No one seems to be able to tell me exactly what it is, or what potentail harm there is this it. It is becoming very frustrating.

The REALLY weird thing is that the young boy after us had the same situation and she decided not to do his procedure either!!
I think its time for a 4th opinion!!!

Oh my goodness, Chuck ! 4th opinion ?? How frustrating it must be !
Prayers and thoughts are still with your family ! I don't blame you I would be getting as many opinions as possible.. Are these specialist or reg physicians?
