It's the Official Iranian Feb 11th "Stun the West" thread today. What will happen?

You do realize these are protest chants of Allah o Akhbar from the rooftops, right? And that whenever there is a mass protest the internet is choked off?

Nothing is going to happen. At least, nothing that affects us outside of Iran.

well hopefully nothing.

But worst case scenarios maybe a missle or a nuke test.

Sun is rising in Teheran right now...36 degrees....people heading to Azadi Square (the govt has declared Azadi closed).
Twitterfall “Iran” is streaming twitters, many of which are from Iran.
I am monitoring them through sources. Will update.

History
Built in 1971 in commemoration of the 2,500th anniversary of the Persian Empire, this "Gateway into Iran" was named the Shahyad Tower, meaning "Kings' Memorial", but was dubbed Azadi (Freedom) after the Iranian Revolution of 1979. Originally intended to remind coming generations of the achievements of modern Iran under the Pahlavi dynasty, it has become a symbol of the country's revival. It is 50 metres (148 ft) tall and completely clad in cut marble.
On February 11, 2007, during the celebration of the 28th anniversary of Iran's Islamic revolution, an Iranian man named Amir Moussavi, 32, fell to his death while free climbing the tower in front of the tens of thousands celebrating. He was only three metres from the top when he was overcome by exhaustion and unable to climb further.
During the 2009 Iranian election protests following the Iranian Presidential Election, protesters scaled the tower and spray-painted slogans of support for candidate Mir-Hossein Mousavi in Persian.

I doubt it. Ahmadinejad is busy with domestic problems he needs to handle - if they don't handle him first. I'm thinking whatever happens will be tied to the protests, probably another crackdown. And we won't hear anythig about it except through sources like Twitter, which are only partly reliable. He will consider it impressive though, if beating students, women and peaceful protesters is something to be proud of.

It will probaly be something incredibly lame, like when they said they enriched uranium and had children carrying symbolic uranium.
