its ramp digging time!

    ramps are the first fresh food after the winter..they are basically a wild leek...know for its strong odor...we have dug them once..and had ramps and taters....then spagett with ramps....we are gonna dig tomorrow and try to dry and perserve some of the ramps..they have an amazingly short season...a couple of weeks at best...

    we would love to have ramps and morels...but so far no luck with the morels...
