As I understood, they do this only for Canada.

At least they're labeling them. In the UK, it has recently been reported that halal meat is being sold in most major supermarkets - without labeling.... This may not seem a big deal, unless you have a moral objection to the inhumane slaughter practices to ensure to meets halal standards.... and then, those who are not Muslim may be offended by having their meat blessed by Allah. But, as long as the Muslims are happy, that's the main thing.
