There is a science to how the GOP does it. They keep raising doubts with the voters, even if its on bullshit, and that takes the conversation off the fact that McCain has nothing. They put the focus on Obama, who is a very intelligent guy. But that doesn't matter, because he is not one of us. Even though McCain panders to the rich and hurts the middle class, he can get you to think that it's us vs them. Who are them? Muslims, blacks, liberals, etc.
