I've actually been rewatching the series on Netflix recently, which kinda gives me concern for this comeback, to be honest. I'm suddenly realizing how bland many of the episodes actually were. More than half of the monster-of-the-week episodes were pretty hokey and rather boring. The real juicy stuff was the mythology episodes, and the excitement week after week was seeing if and how the silly interpretations of chupacabras might tie into the greater story line.

On a side note, Netflix is a poor substitute for watching The X-files, because the "The truth is out there" line doesn't appear at the end of the opening sequence. It's a real downer.
