Dem Representative Admits: Obama Has Become a Political Liability
Worst. Socialist. President. Ever.
Representative Dan Boren (D-OK) admits Barack Obama is becoming a political liability...
But, he has voted with him 81% of the time anyway.
The Politico reported:

Rep. Dan Boren, a conservative Democrat in the reddest state in America, Oklahoma, says in the bluntest terms imaginable that President Obama has become a political liability:

“Barack Obama is very unpopular,” said Boren, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional District. “He got 34 percent of the vote statewide, and less in our district. If he were to run for re-election today, I bet it would be even worse.”

Boren points out that he does support some of Obama’s initiatives, like the economic stimulus package. He has voted for Obama-supported bills 81 percent of the time, according to a recent Congressional Quarterly study. But despite this, he said the president is too liberal.
Remember: There is no such a thing as a blue-dog democrat-- But certain liberals do vote occasionally with the GOP to stay in power.

Related... Barack Obama booed at All-Star Game- throws sissy pitch.

UPDATE: Tom W. offers this urgent request:

Call or e-mail your senators and representatives. Tell them you oppose cap and trade and nationalized health care. It's having an effect. They're listening to us. If we kill these two policies, we rob Obama of his political capital and he's over.

Here's what I wrote:

Dear ____________:

I am writing to express my opposition to both the Waxman-Markey bill and President Obama’s proposed health-care reforms. They will cost far too much, reduce my choices and standard of living, and limit my freedoms. As an American, I find them unacceptable. This nation was founded on the concepts of personal responsibility and individual freedom. It is not the role of the federal government to make my life worse, particularly when the policies in question are based on debunked science and failed political philosophies.

Thank you.

We have the power. We can stop Obama. Make your voice heard, and we will win.

Perhaps it is Representative Boren who is the liability. He has a primary in 2010, like all representatives. He might find funding hard to come by at that time.

Yup, the dems will waste no time throwing anyone and everyone under the bus to cover for the failed Obama Messiah. But then the Primary season is still quite a bit away, more then enough time for the idiotic policies of Obama to sink the Democrats.

It's a good start and nothing was ever accomplished without following through. And so I shall.

I have very little doubt that Obama is a political liability to a Democratic Rep rerepesenting a mostly Republican state.

As to the party overall?

No, Obama hasn't yet become the political liability that Bush II became for his party.

It could happen, though...if the economy continues to falter.

The economy is the key. And the stimulas has yet to produce positive results. A slowing of the free fall that we were in, but the numbers continue to get worse, just at a slower rate. For another year, this will remain the Bush economy. After that, it is President Obama's baby. The President fully realizes that, and will be acting on the issue. Can he turn it around? I really don't know, but we had all better hope he does. The Second Great Republican Depression will not be pretty if he fails.
