Remember the homeless vet who gave a woman his last 20 bucks because she had ran out of gas? And then, there was the kerfuffle over the people who started the Go Fund Me who kept most of the money, outraging the entire nation because they kept money intended for a homeless vet.

Well, the dude was homeless, and he was a veteran, but that is about all that was true. The couple and the homeless man came up with this plan about a month after meeting him at an off ramp near the casino they liked to go to.

Be careful when you donate money folks, and be sure to do a thorough check on who you are sending money to.

But you know, if they hadn't started arguing over the money, nobody would have investigated, and they might have gotten away with it.

But you know, for me the real laugh is that if they had simply divided up the money between them and went their separate ways, they would have gotten away with it. But no, one saw a way to screw over the other and that is where the whole thing unraveled.

If they hadn't been accused of keeping the money, which is what prompted the investigation. And, according to the latest news cast I just heard on the tv, the people who donated are going to get their money back.

The BMW the couple bought, as well as other items, have been impounded.

Actually, that's not a bad idea. Put it live on PPV and sell it for 5 bucks. The money collected could be used to reimburse the people who got fleeced into donating.
