It costs less than $60 to have a baby in Finland. How?

£60 sounds a lot.
We have had 3 kids and never been charged a penny. Its all covered in our national insurance payments.

How does it cost £12k in the US ? What do you get for that ?
Have a baby in the US and you are in for a pile of bills
Have any difficulties with the birth or the infant and you can be bankrupted

That is our healthcare system and conservatives love it
god forbid a person would have to pay for services rendered,,,,

the option is forcing others to take care of you, which we all know is slavery,,,

that might be why so many people are having their babies at home
God forbid a simple thing like having a child bankrupts you

If having a child bankrupts a person, said person has no business raising children.
Thousands of dollars in bills is a burden for any young person just starting out

Shifting that burden to other people to support with their taxes doesn't solve it, bub.

Having a child at the expense of others (who often can't afford to have as many children as they would like to do excessive taxes) is not a contribution to society. Children raised in welfare households are far less likely to grow up into successful, independent, productive adults.

Sad reflection of what a society really is
