Everyone is pretty much aware of the Asian SPAM breakfast feast we've been seeing on the boards for awhile now. A couple things have changed that PROMISE to cut this graffiti off at the knees.

1) For NEW members --- there is a Minimum Post Limit of (20) posts AND (7) days before you can include links into your content. This is not updated in "real time" -- only when the system updates the member stats. It's not clear what that time span can be. It may be 4 hours or 24 hours. So we ask all new members to WAIT 24 hours -- after reaching the 20 post/7 day thresholds -- before filing complaints to the Mod Staff. And please don't bother the Admins. It just annoys them. Ask a MOD before elevating anything to the Admin level.

2) In the past day or so a "SPAM filter" (3rd party) was installed that PRIMARILY checks for foreign character sets and FLAGS posts as SPAM if they contain any foreign characters. The Posting Guidelines state that content should be English. So it should not place any burdens other than understanding that your posts may be flagged if they contain foreign characters. I had one flagged from a Wiki quote last night. I lived thru it by simply removing the offending characters.

If you find any other CENSORSHIP implications of this filtering report it IMMEDIATELY to Mod Staff. Again -- do NOT bother the Admin. They will likely not respond anyways.
