This concept is supported by nearly all Jewish people and is upheld by the government of Israel, as demonstrated by these events. Israel's government and LEO's dispersed the protesters and ensured that the rights of the Christians were honored. As they should be.

And, interestingly, the root cause of this protest is the threat of having this particular holy place removed from Jewish control and taken over by the Vatican.

And why is this, care to give the real answer for once. The fact is the arab muslims who have no legal or moral right to be there create violence and riots all the time, so Israel acts in accordance with international law and stops them. When was alaqsa built then for it to be a holy site in islam, what was there before the muslims built a wooden hut on the site.

Again, this is very akin to Israeli Domestic Terrorism or Hate Crimes. Thus it is one of those cases that we really have any room to express our displeasure. The US should not get involved in domestic issues.

The Israelis need to investigate this event throughly, identify the agitators and groups responsible for the incitement to violence, and then take the appropriate steps to neutralize the source of the "incitement to violence."

The Israelis need to make a sure an swift example of these guys.

The Israelis that are most susceptible to this kind of political presentations and activism need to understand that they are damaging Israel more than they are helping.

Israeli Leaders need to stress that Jewish Organizations that are associated with these characteristics are considered an "evil" in their own right:

1) the use of violence,

2) a political motive that activates the violence,

3) an intention to strike fear into the victims and their community

4) the victims of terrorism are civilians or non-combatants. This definition encompasses most of the elements that the mainstream literature on terrorism accepts.

The Arab view on how and why the West designates certain organization as terrorist is very thought provoking. BUT, it was just earlier this year (March 2016) that Arab League joined Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, and the Gulf Cooperation Council in designating Hezbollah as terrorist group; making it an alliance wide decision.

This is one of the rare cases where Israeli might learn a lesson from the Arab Leadership.
