what type of proof do you people need. LOL. i just read media from all over the world, instead of choosing to stay in the fishbowl of american media. why is it you think that 80%of the civillians in the world were against the US going to war and 80% of americans were for it. US media propaganda. why can't we see media from outside the US, hmmmmmmmmmmm?

Let me explain this to you very carefully. 80% of the world were not against the US going to war. We have about a third of the nations of the world behind us. The others could care less either way cause it doesnt affect them. The only nations really against have been France, Germany, and Russia. All three of whom were against us because they had corrupt dealings going on under the table contrary to international law.

Your BS about 80% of the worlds population being against us is just that BS. First, nearly a sixth of the worlds population is in China. A nation where the peasants are totally ignorant and probably have no idea where Iraq is nor that it exists. Another large chunk of people are in Africa and India. There are too busy trying to survive from either starvation or genocide to worry about what America does in Iraq. Of those that know. Most were probably for riding the world of a mass murdering torturer and rapist.

There are two groups of people who are against the War. Terrorists and those brainwashed by said terrorists, and socialist elites in America and Europe. Both of which are opposed because spreading freedom in the world weakens their power.

What difference does it matter about who had the land when and who lied about having Israel in the past?

The reality remains:

ISRAEL BELONGS TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE TODAY. THIS IS THEIR LAND AND IF THE ARABS WANT TO STEAL IT, THEY MUST GO TO WAR WITH ISRAEL AND THE ISRAEL DEFENSE FORCES.

Otherwise your lies and protestations belong to the wind. Egypt or Saudi Arabia never belonged to the Arabs as this was Jewish land as well. If Israel wants to take back Saudi Arabia and Mecca, then they can simply go to war with the sand dwellers who sit on the land and make feces on the land of the Jewish people.

Also, in general, when I read complaints about schools and hospitals and apartment buildings being destroyed by the Israelis, I think that the following is omitted:'
1-Students in said schools are taught, since age 3, that blowing themselves up is good. So many don't kill themselves without proper conditioning. It's against human nature,
2-Said hospitals and apartment buildings are often concealing stockpiles of weapons and Hamas bases; Hamas is a terrorist organization, though CNN calls it "militant."
3-Remember several incidents when some apartment buildings blew up? Without Israeli interference? Without anybody planting a bomb there? Well, they blew up because something malfunctioned in the cellar. In fact, the cellar was a weapons stash, and an explosive accidentally went off. So yeah, that's ISrael's fault too.

Israel is a Jewish nation now. It was recognized in 1948 by the UN. Even given its constant Anti-Israel actions, the UN recognized Israel (in its time). Even FRANCE recognized it. The SOVIET UNION recognized ISrael as legitimate.

Simultaneously, in 1948, the UN acknowledged a PAlestinian state that was to COEXIST with Israel. This is apart from Jordan, whose population is about 80% Palestinian, 20% Jordanian. Furthermore, ISRAEL acknowledged the legitimacy of this state. Everybody agreed...except the Palestinian Liberation Organization.
But of course, it's all Israel's fault that Yassir Arafat doesn't want a state.
Why no? Well, it's not profitable for him. Assume simply that he doesn't care about his people as much as he says he does, and it all falls into place. To support this assumption, compare the amount of money the Palestinian Authority receives annually to the quality of life of most Palestinians. But anyway, if he doesn't care for the well-being of his "people," now is the perfect situation. If Palestine were to be a state and he its leader, that would mean definite deadlines, real demands, responsibility. Now, nobody cares where the money from the EU and human rights groups goes. They all hate Israel. Arafat's refusal of Ehud Barack's unprecedented proposal in 2000 was the best thing he could have done for his regime and himself! When ISrael besieged him in his Ramalla compound, he needed not to worry; the world community came through and pressured SIrael to stop the siege. Would he be able to have such affluence if Palestine were a state and he its head? NO.

For those of you who have never been in Israel, who have never lived the horror, and/or who do not know the full story (or don't want to know), well, you're in no place to join the debate.

Maybe it's just me, but I find the title of this thread puts me off. The Israeli's have been defending themselves from attacks by the Arab nations since the UN established the state. Over and over again we hear about Israel should return to the '67 borders. Why? It was Egypt and other ME nations that attacked them, not the other way around. It's not Israel that has been the aggressor.
