The Israelis managed to take over several towns in south Lebanon, including the Hezbollah stronghold of Bint J'Beil. The Hezbollah RATS put up a good fight, and more ISraeli soldiers than expected died. But Israels goal was to stop rockets being fired into Israel. Last I checked, there havent been any since. ALso do you really believe that Hezbollah could EVER take over an Israeli town ? NO ! They would never be able to get even ONE foot soldier in Israel. So they cowardly shoot rockets from a distance, while Israeli soldiers BRAVELY walked through hostile territory

Hezbollah fired rockets during the war. Their goal was to weaken Hezbollah. I'm not sure if hezbollah can go into Israel. They didn't walk through anything they indiscriminately bombed cities and then the troops would try to go through. Hezbollah still held them back and put pressure on their tank crews

The only reason they(hezbollah) had any success was for the intelligence they got.

Pbel, have you forgotten that Israel said that iran was their greatest enemy and not Iraq? Meanwhile, you can't resist blaming the Jews on the Iraq War, can you, when there were others involved besides Jews. Every time the people try to start up, the goons working for these nuts go wild in the streets against the protestors. Read the report by the PNAC, it is all open history now...The scenario is all laid out. I did a bit of digging on your boy Eric Hufschmid and found all manner of lunacy, including but not limited to 9/11 "truthism" and Holocaust denial.
His list of prominent Jews is real enough but proves nothing about their leading America to war or that their motivation is anything but what is best for America.
I did read a number of bios of those listed and can see why they would and should be influencial ... they are some very smart, accomplished people.
I don't know if all or even any of them are practicing Jews but I am proud that America's Jews work hard enough to help lead this great country.
