AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- An Israeli military court has extended the detention of seven Palestinian children from Al-Khalil for 101 days for further interrogation.
The Ofer military court said on Monday that the children from Beit Ummar village, to the north of Al-Khalil, should remain in custody for a further review of their case and for further questioning.
The Israeli military prosecution is demanding the banishment of those children, all from 14 to 16 years old, from their homes as punishment for throwing stones at Israeli soldiers.
Yousef Abu Mariya, the coordinator of the national campaign in Beit Ummar told Quds Press that the Israeli court decided to release the child Ahmed Salibi, from the same village, in return for a financial fine of 6800 dollars.
